It seemed as though every time we scheduled Lauren & Nick’s engagement session, the forecast worked against us. We had originally planned for a sunset session downtown, but after a few tries + horrible storms, we decided to embrace the overcast/rainy day we had and roll with a morning session at a couple of unique locations and I’m SO glad we did. We took a few photos with their precious little pup, Coco, they enjoyed a glass of champagne at Louie’s Wine Dive, and then we stoped at a sweet greenhouse in Carmel. It was the perfect session despite not having that sunset they were originally aiming for! I love using unique locations and getting to shake things up a bit. Not to mention they were wonderful and just enjoying each other’s company and loving on each other while I photographed them – my favorite! 🙂 Lauren & Nick, thank you so much for rolling with it and allowing me to capture your sweet, sweet love.
