It is always so special to us when we are able to photograph the same family multiple times. I met Barbara when we photographed her sister’s wedding in 2014. Then, in 2015 I photographed her younger sister’s senior portraits. 2016 was Barbara’s year! We just adore this family and are so, so lucky they trust us to capture these big milestones.
Barbara & Zach met while teaching in Africa – how cool is that?! Because Africa (and the people they met there) played such a huge role in their relationship, they wanted to honor that on their wedding day. I loved all the little African touches–the incredibly awesome photo booth that Barbara’s dad made, the cookie favors, and the special video that was played as a surprise for the bride and groom from their African family. Such special little details tossed into this beautiful day.
