On Friday the 13th I came back to my apartment after teaching to find this:

Needless to say, I was completely surprised.  It was absolutely perfect.  The best thing to come home to!

The proposal was so personal and meaningful.  Then we headed to downtown Indy to celebrate!  We had dinner & wine with our friends Michael & Lauren at Napolese and spent the night just enjoying being newly engaged.

He’s honestly THE BEST man and I can’t believe I get to marry him.  It’s been an incredible journey and I can’t wait to start this next adventure with him. I couldn’t be any happier.

I also can’t believe I’m on the other side of all things wedding!  It’s my turn to search for vendors, plan a wedding, and most importantly, get married–so crazy!
