Lauren and Brian are two of the sweetest, most calm, laid-back people you could ever meet. They’re just lovely to be around and are so easy to talk to. Celebrating their marriage with them was such a joy and we are so glad we were able to be a part of their day. Leading up to Saturday, the forecast called for 100% chance of rain basically all day. It was by far the worst forecast we’ve seen as far as wedding days go. It’s rained on plenty of wedding days since we’ve been photographers (and even our own day), but never has it rained literally all day. So, we came up with a solid backup plan. But, just an hour of so before their first look, it cleared up. The sun started shining and the ground was drying. It was a dream! We were able to carry on with our as-scheduled outdoor portraits and it turned out perfectly! 

After a trip to the Indiana Statehouse for photos, we settled in at D’Amore (one of our favorite venues!) for the ceremony and reception. With Boldy Chic Events planning the day + Lauren and her family’s beautiful vision, D’Amore looked stunning and it was everything Lauren wanted. Exactly how it should be! We were thrilled to work with Lauren & Brian, meet their families, and create the first heirlooms of their marriage – their wedding photographs. Thanks for having us, Lauren & Brian!
